Therapy Dog Preparation Class & Certification
Therapy Dogs play an important role in the community. They participate in reading programs, visit hospitals and nursing homes and give companionship and comfort to the people that they meet.
We will review and practice all of the therapy dog test items as well as cover visit protocol and characteristics of a good Therapy Dog. Dogs should have prior obedience training at a Community Canine level or equivalent.
Therapy Dog Tests offered include Therapy Dogs International and Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs.
